How Can severe Cellulitis Be Treated?

I have been told by my GP that I have cellulitis. I (think) I understand what it is, but how can I deal with any symptoms as they appear - i.e. a burning sensation on the skin of the lower calf, which I suspect is a reaction to the fabric of my bedsheets. Is moisturizer a good idea?

Hi,

Cellulitis is subcutaneous skin infection caused by bacteria. usually you will be prescribed antibiotics if your infection is increasing or persistent. cellulitis is not a reaction to fabric of your bed sheet. Mosturization won't have any effect on infection. It will neither worsen nor improve cellulitis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
